Hello, my name is Ron Kaufman. An ambitious nation can be a force to reckon with and a catalyst in the transformational process for our society and for the future. But this responsibility, this historic privilege, should only be entrusted to sincere and ethical change agents. Is it possible for businesses and government authorities to partner together in a sincere and ethical way to realize the dream of a thriving economy and a healthy, vibrant society? Absolutely. So long as both parties understand that the key is found in the definition of service. Why service? Because service is taking action to create value for someone else. And uplifting your service is taking the next action to create more value for the people you serve. Now, isn’t that exactly what successful businesses do? Think about it. Financial service, legal service, medical service, consumer service, commercial service, manufacturing supply chain, I.T., HR all are taking action to create value. All are service. Well, is the same thing true in government? Of course. That’s why it’s called government service. Public service, civil service, even military service. Why? Because the purpose of government is to create, increase and protect value so that businesses can prosper, people can thrive, and society can evolve. Now, how can business and government do this together? By understanding and acting as true service partners. Listening to each other, caring about one another, creating, taking action, increasing value in communities, in society, and in our world. This means working together towards tomorrow. And this is the theme of the SHRM MENA annual conference coming up in Dubai. I’ll be talking about this in my keynote. Raising the bar, adding value with human potential, and going deep in my platinum masterclass. Building a Culture of Leaders Who Care. My name is Ron Kaufman and I look forward to meeting you there.
