Hello my friend this is Ron I’m down in experence West Australia it’s the hometown of my wife Jen and I’m in a Eucalyptus Grove this is a special place for me because after we got married on the beach here on January 1st years ago we came into this Eucalyptus Grove with all of our family members to take those wonderful photographs together now there’s something about eucalyptus that I also really enjoy reflecting on at this time of year many of us know the scent of eucalyptus oil as something that’s so healthy and beneficial for humans it’s true but you may not know that eucalyptus trees are also incredibly strong they can live for up to 250 years and grow as tall as 100 meters that’s 330 yards up into the sky and there’s over 700 different species of eucalyptus most of them native right here to Australia now you don’t get to be that old or that tall or that strong without going through difficulties and eucalyptus trees have learned how to deal with the difficulties of this part of the world which is often fire lightning strikes and fires come burning through and eucalyptus trees have learned they’ve adapted over the years the outer bark literally Burns off and then new growth comes out and enables them to keep growing taller and stronger for more years you and I are not going to get 250 years but we got last year and hopefully it was a good one for you and I’m sure you had difficulties as well but made it through so in the year ahead my wish for you is that you grow strong and you grow tall and then when difficulties come because they will that’s part of life that you also have the ability to shed the outer bark and let your new growth take you forward may you have a blessed new year ahead.
