Hello, this is Ron Kaufman. I’m speaking to you today from Lux South Ari Atoll, at the beautiful island nation of Maldives in the Indian Ocean.

My wife and I have been coming to this resort now for 11 years, before it was even known as Lux resorts or known worldwide for its shining service standards, there are so many reasons to come to this beautiful location there’s the beach water sports, scuba diving 10 different food and beverage outlets to indulge whatever your flavors may be.

You’ve got the gym, you’ve got the spa you’ve got the yoga grove, the wanderlust library, the kids club… the list goes on and on, but i’ve chosen this particular place it’s called the tree of wishes because this is a place where people from all over the world take a few moments of their precious vacation time to write out what it is that they wish for and i’ve got a wish for you.

We live in some very challenging times and life has always been challenging. I would say that the tensions and the unpredictable, uncertain nature of the future… well it gives all of us something that we need to reflect upon and it takes a certain toll.

Now after two years of being in Singapore with very little direct client contact and so many hours online working with clients all over the world, my wife and I needed a break and so we came back here to our home away from home where we could restore ourselves, where we could recover or we could relax.

I’m glad to let you know that after a week of that huh we accomplished that result and then something else started to happen we found ourselves being recharged and regenerated and now as we’re getting ready to leave the resort fully recommitted to the kind of activities for which we’re known and those that give our lives such a sense of meaning and purpose, contributing to the well-being of others.

So what’s my wish for you in this life in these times is that you take time to take good care of yourself in whatever way works for you to recharge and restore, to regenerate and recreate for your health, for your marriage, for your family, for your life.

I wish you the kind of care that we all want to give to others and receive from others but that you do it for yourself, take good care I look forward to seeing you in the year ahead.
