For many years, since my childhood, I’ve been blessed by guiding lights. My Grandma Bea was one of them. So is my wife Jen, our daughter Brighten, and YOU. Even as circumstances have changed, and live conferences have evolved into virtual events, you have continued to uplift and inspire me. YOU are the ones who interact with me on social media, subscribe to my channel, attend virtual events, and keep me motivated.
I’m humbled to announce that with your support, I have been nominated as one of the Global Gurus in Customer Service for the fifth consecutive year. I want to take this moment to say THANK YOU.

We are alive together in truly extraordinary times. The era of smooth sailing is fading behind us. The soft rolling waves that we could relax and enjoy life have turned into a genuine storm. For many people, this is an era of a perfect storm, where ecology, economy, geopolitics and healthcare are all creating a tumultuous uncertain future. A future we’re going to need to learn to navigate into together. What do we need? Clear guiding lights.
Hello, my name is Ron Kaufman, and for many years since I was young, I was blessed with guiding lights. My grandmother B taught kindergarten for 40 years. And from her, I learned that every single person deserves to be appreciated and loved. I got deeply involved in the sports of frisbee and discovered that the spirit of the game is the most important rule. The way we live and play and work with each other in the field of life.
Three decades ago, I moved to the small Asian country of Singapore. A pragmatic little country that wants to do well and get along well with everyone else on the planet. I’ve had the privilege of working with the award-winning Singapore Airlines, the icon of hospitality Raffles Hotel, and one of the most awarded airports in the world Changi International. For decades I flew through that airport hundreds and hundreds of times filling up my passports with visas, collecting boarding passes as I travelled the world to work with and serve audiences. Whether they were in Asia pacific my backyard or travelling to India to meet so many companies and good friends. Carrying on to Maldives and Mauritius and the Middle east. Meeting with new audiences, new clients, new friends in eastern Europe and western Europe and on back to Latin America and North America as well. All the time I’ve been supported by truly wonderful people who want to join the team so we can uplift the spirit and practice of service everywhere. My parents are now in their 90s giving me love and encouragement every day. My amazing wife Jen without whom none of this would be possible and our daughter Brighton who’s blazing her own path now to a better future not just for herself but for all those who she comes into contact with.
Throughout all of this what’s been that driving commitment? Helping people see that we can take our service to a higher level. And even as I’ve come off the airports and off the stage and worked from the video broadcast studio built into my house, you are the people who have come along. You’re the ones who’ve made the virtual events that we’ve been doing so successful. You’re the ones who go to the YouTube channel and see the three, four or five new pieces of content we’re putting up every week or you’ve followed me on LinkedIn or any of the other popular social media channels. Many of you have purchased a copy of the book uplifting service and thank you for the five-star Amazon reviews that continue to accumulate. It’s your support and your votes that have had me be located in a global community called global gurus. And in fact, it’s your support that has ranked me as the Number One customer service Global Guru for years. I appreciate your support. I promise you this as we go into the next year and the world continues to evolve. I will devote myself to serving you and others. I will continue my commitment and compassion and dedication to care, and I will love every moment of this incredible life. It’s time again for the voting for global gurus to occur, and I want to take this moment to say Thank you. Thank you for the encouragement you give me, thank you for your love, thank you for your support.
